The Department of the Treasury/IRS has officially notified us that our application for recognition as a 501(c)(3), public charitable organization, has been approved. Host Families

Of course our host families (or individuals) are critically important to the success of our overall mission.  And it takes a very special family, since we are striving to cultivate and enhance in these pups the characteristics of obedience, responsiveness and agility required in truly successful detection and search and rescue dogs.

Accordingly we are extremely thorough in selecting each family.

The pups are free to our host families, and all training and veterinary care expenses are paid for by DenimCross.

Each year we’ll be looking for dedicated families or individuals who will ensure that our pups will be given the chance to grow up in an environment that will provide them with the opportunity to become meaningful and productive members of our national homeland security teams.
